It means each element in the linear data structure has a unique predecessor and a unique successor. Example: Array, Stack, Queue, Linked list<\/li><li><strong>Non-linear Data Structure:<\/strong>\u2013 A data structure in which elements don\u2019t form a sequence. It means unlike linear data structure, each element doesn\u2019t have a unique predecessor and unique successor. Example: Tree, Graph, Tables, Sets<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Operation on Data Structure<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Different data structures allow different types of operations. Various operations that can be performed on data structures are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li><strong>Insertion<\/strong>:- Adding a new element in the data structure.<\/li><li><strong>Deletion<\/strong>:- Removing any existing element from the data structure.<\/li><li><strong>Traversing<\/strong>:- Accessing all of data elements one by one to process all or some of them.<\/li><li><strong>Searching:<\/strong>\u2013 Process of finding the location of a particular element in the data structure.<\/li><li><strong>Sorting:<\/strong>\u2013 Process of arranging all the elements in some logical order.
